Kayo in orange sari? =)

She hugged the sheep every night/time we had girl talks so i thought i should give it to her as a memento of her time in malaysia. She refused the first time i offered, but as I saw her hugging it and smoothing its hairs, i saw her attachment with it, so i decided to offer again, which was met with a wide-eyed (perhaps wideR-eyed? haha) smile. Nostalgia overruled her ingrained politeness, she happily accepted her present.

But she forgot to bring it to Johor! I panicked about it a little until i remembered that i had one more chance to see her before she left. It was great seeing her after 2 weeks, although our initial arkward phase of miscommunication resurfaced as both of us spluttered and gestured our way to understanding. again. sigh

Her face lit up when she saw me with the sheep. This is no mean feat, have you ever seen an already overcute japanese girl light up? I melted there and then, and throughout her stay here I have always felt like spontaneously hugging her because she’s just so adorable! Anyway, that smile soothed my slight reluctance to relinquish one of my long-time soft toys and i happily passed it to her. I hope she brought it safely home -.-”

though i’ll have to admit, i kinda miss my sheep! gotta find a replacement now. hint hint.

Oh and I realised after I posted it that I didn’t give any introduction to what happened prior to the picture. This is during the Lions’ Club farewell dinner for the youth exchangees. people are encouraged to wear cultural costumes thus i happily whipped out my long-unworn cheongsam xD

Another side note would be that my eyebrows might for evermore look drawn. I can never distinguish when it looks drawn or not. As if the hue is too light, the shape is too weird, it looks artificial, OR is it because i’m too used to my eyebrowless face? However it looks, I can never get used to me having visible eyebrows. I wake up to a face with scarce eyebrows, i grew up with it. Perhaps then i’m cursed to forever look like i have fake eyebrows!

Okay no, i’ll take classes one day (or luckily find a friend who also has no eyebrows but knows how to work miracles and create some)
