Today is such an exhausting day. but I now have a newfound respect for background singers of every kind! I started singing from 5-7 then from 8 till 10.30pm. those 4 and a half hours killed my voice for a couple of hours. I was so worried that i’ll start having a sore throat and then lose both my prospective jobs that i’m very very excited about. It is at once daunting and exhilarating, that i am one of four people who would sing and goof around in klia (we are planning costumes! we have to sing there during halloween =D) but as we all each hold a distinct voice in the group. ONE MISTAKE will be sooo obvious.
And the genting gig utilises microphones. oh goddd.
Ah, but tiredness aside, I’m very happy these days. I’ve finally moved from my lazy ass and started being more productive. Every day is filled with either choir practice, or application frenzies. And though i do not particularly like the latter, it does give me a certain sort of satisfaction to complete. because then it’s OUT OF MY ASS!
