I’m looking at the sweetest thing in the airport. What I’m going to call unconditional love.

In front of me is a man who is taking care of another (same age) man on the wheelchair. The guy on the wheelchair doesn’t seem as if he could even control his facial features well anymore. The man placed him facing the windows, so that he could watch the planes fly. He is now adjusting the chair and removing his shoes to make the man on the wheelchair comfortable.

I don’t know if they’re brothers, or friends, or lovers. But seeing him take care of this other guy, unabashed about wiping his mouth for him, constantly accompanying him… It’s beautiful at this moment, because he does this without want of reciprocation. It’s unconditional love. And I think it’s beautiful.
